Franchise Systems of All Sizes Revised and Grew Expansion Plans in 2025

February 2, 2026 – Some franchises across all size ranges grew beyond expectations in 2025, but the 201-500 unit segment was most active in modifying plans to take advantage of what they saw as opportunistic conditions.

March 19, 2025 – When asked about advertising plans for 2025 in our annual Franchise Lead Sources Survey, over 95% of franchise development teams already using either Google, Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok expected to increase their spending somewhat or significantly in 2025.
